Kiwi can

LI. To Talk to other people using positive communication

For kiwi can we were talking about positive communication. Next we did a energizer it was called flip the cone we had to spit up into two groups then put cone that are upside down and the right way one group the to flip the  cones upside down and the other group had to try and put the cones the right way, you only have 10 seconds to flip the cones. Next we went straight into our activity it was called street fighter first we had to find a partner ten one person has to yell out a number. the number 1 was to jab one time 2, jab two time three kick, 5 do the halogen.
        

Kiwi sport | Rippa rugby.

LI. To learn the basics of rippa rugby

For kiwi port we did rippa rugby. We went down to the Auckland Marist field. First we started off with drills like passing and catching. Next we played a game called octopus then we had to chose one person to be in the middle then the person in the middle has to give the ball to a person that doesn't have a ball then the person that has the ball has to run and if they get their tag ripped off then all the other people have to run to the other side. Next we played a ripper rugby game first we spit up into two group the 1st group was the green group the 2nd was the red team we ended up playing but the red team won.

Punctuation Marks

This week we learnt about 5 different punctuation marks and how to use them. First we learnt about what punctuation marks are and how to use each different one. Next we created a poster to show our learning. Our group in an Exclamation mark. Hopefully I can use the correct punctuation in my writing 

What is keywords

LI. This week in Reading we learnt about keywords.

First we worked on understanding what a keyword was and was not. Then I made a this poster to show my learning.I feel like I am read to find keywords in a book. I look forward to seeing this strategy while reading.

Independent Activity

LI. To practice independent activities.
Our groups started our rotations.
the actives we attended were basic fact boxes,Drills,abacus,and finding a group logo.
We had to make a video of ourselves counting on the abacus.
I  attempted the upto 10 speed demon  for basic fact boxes.
I found the abacus hard because when we had to count backwards while recording because the Chromebook was in the way.

LI. Giving things a go.

This week we were talking about giving things a go. First we talked about what it means. When we finished talking about it we went straight into our energizer. Our energizer was called Magic word how to play the game.? To play the game you needed to find a partner the sit down and facing
each other and leave space for a cone. So then put your guys hands at the back of your back then someone has to chose a word so the person that chose the word had to make a sentences then while saying the sentence add the word that you chose then the first one to grab the cone wins.

After our energizer we jumped into our activity this next one was called Acting  this game is when you need to find a partner then with your partner go back to back then someone has to tell you and your partner what you guys have to act like the best person to act what the other person said wins

Print Design Rules



LI. To identify the four areas of Print Design Rules.
Yesterday we had to think about the Print Design Rules.Print Design Rules Is how you fix your DLO. These help your DLO to be better. These are the Print Design Rules:

Composition:
Use Images that relate to the text
Have a Balance of pictures and sentences

Layout:
Have Margins and align text and images 
Use most of the space 
Colour:
Don’t use clashing colors use a harmonic color scheme
Use contrasting backgrounds and Foreground colors 

Text:
Make sure the text is legible
Keep consistent fonts and sizes




Vehicles | Puzzle

LI. To create a 100's board using a object.

For maths we had to solve a puzzle. We were given a grid and puzzles that looked like titres. Then knew that is was zodiac sign. We had to find out what it means so we all came up with idea of how we could solve it. Next we all found out what it meant the hole puzzle was an 100's board. After that we had to make our own 100's board but in our groups. We had to go on google drawings and use objects like emojis. Then when we finished we had to move around our puzzle that we made to see if you could solve it.












Self Portrait



LI. To use Google Draw tools to create a digital self portrait.

Self portrait is a piece of art about yourself. We had two options the first one we had to make our self's using shaped and the other one we had to use any lines. The one that I chose was the geometric shapes. We did it by taking a photo of our self's then we had to use multiple shapes to shape our head and our body. Then the last thing we had to do was color in all the shapes and our background.

Maritime museum

LI. To study the history of NZ Maritime explorers

Yesterday LS1 went to the Maritime museum to learn about explores for our new topic. our two instructors was Peter and Lee.

When we started we had to split up and start exploring the hole place and learn information about  explorers from the past like Peter Blake the best NZ sailor.

Then we had to make a little video about how Kupe found NZ

Ti Tiriti o te Waitangi


This week we have been learning about the Treaty of Waitangi by accessing different text types and media.

In groups we needed to firstly access the information and gather the main ideas of Who, 
What, Where, Why and When. We had journal stories, website, you tube videos and more.

We then had to summaries the information in to sentences using key words. 

Even though we all picked out different words, the main idea of the treaty are the 3 PS.

The 3 PS are Protection, Partnership and Participation. This is what the treaty set out to achieve.

We then had to evaluate our new learning and think of questions that we want to find more information on.

Crazy cricket

LI. To Develop fundamental movements in Cricket.

We did our first session of cricket with brain from HP CC.

I did a session on throwing a ball at a set of stumps.
We also did an activity were we had to hit 2 balls off cones as far as we could.

Lastly we did an catching drill with 2 balls in a big Circe.

I was so tried at the end from all the running. I need to work on my aiming when throwing.

My name is Texas. I am half Samoan and half Tongan. I am in LS1 at Panmure Bridge School. I
enjoy Sports we do and learning. When there is spare time at home I like to play 
Rugby League 4 on my PS4.




How to make a strong password

To make a Strong password you need to add numbers,punctuation marks and lowers case and capital letters and symbols.

For an example: Slimy Snake when you have a word then you must chance your password like this S1Iwy 5u@ke. it is important not to tell anyone your password. because they can do wrong things on your a amount.
