Kiwi sport

Today for kiwi sport we learnt how to do the 3 man drive.

First we started off by doing the three man drive. After doing the three man drive we did the 2 man drive. As we did the man drives we had a letter the runner is the letter A the second person is B and the last person is letter C.

To do the 3 man drive you have to run with 3 people. When the person with the ball gets touch the person plants the ball on the ground then steps over it. so the second person can pass the ball.

To do the 2 man drive two people run up and the person when the person with ball gets touched. They plant the ball down then runs at the back of the other person so they can pass the ball.

I enjoy learning how to do the three man drive and the two man drive.

Kiwisport

For swimming we were doing 5 skills. Streamline, Arms straight and behind ears, Fast kicking and
slow at strokes, Rolling,Diving. Our teacher's name was James.

The first skill was streamline is when I had to hold my arm straight up in the air then as then push and swim.

The second skill was called arms straight and behind ears that is the same like a streamline but you put your arms at the back of your head.

The third skill we did was called Fast kicking, slow at strokes it was when I had to do a streamline but I kick fast but my strokes have to be slow.

The fourth skill we learnt was called Diving that is when I had to use the streamline pose then dive diagonal into the pool but not all the way down because you might hit your head.

The last skill we did was called rolling that is when I had to swim then role on my back so I can breath then switch back to my stomach.

Swimming Session 1

For swimming we learnt four new skills at the pools. Our teacher's name was James.

The first skill I learnt was streamline kicking. I held my arm straight up in the air then as I was swimming I was kicking as I was swimming I had to lean to the side so I could breath.

The second skill is submersion. That is when I used arm stroking three times then I used the same strategy leaning to the side so I could breath.

The third skill we learn was called Butterfly kick it when I had to keep my feet together. When I dive I had to flap my feet and legs like I was a dolphin.

The last skill we learnt was frog kick. That is when my legs are coming in like I am tucking in then spread my legs out then bring them back in together so I can make a splash.

I enjoyed learning these skills Because one day it could help.
