I'm Lee, one of the Summer Learning Journey blog commentors. What a great idea to go to Tane Mahuta as a present on your birthday! That's a very original thought. When is your birthday? Mine is in September so I have missed out on going there this year for mine. But - I think I am going to go there after Christmas! If you don't get there this summer holidays, I am sure you could see if you can visit another park nearby? Do you know of any Kauri parks near Auckland? I grew up in Warkworth and there was one there.
