SSR Selfie
This week the book that I read was called Ricky and Mighty Robot. This book talks about who they are and what they did. The main Story is about Ricky and Mighty Robot saving the City from the bad monkeys. I enjoy this story not because it is made up. Because It had a lot of detail to it. I really want to read this book again.

Kiwi can
For kiwi can we were talking about role models and what it is. Next we were talking about why do we look up to them. After that we went into our energizer it was called Hamer it's when you have to have your fist our then someone else has to say up,down or hamer if they say any of them then the people with their fist out go up,down or hamer. It means you have to slam your fist down to the other person that has their fist out under you. After that we went right into our activity it was called x vs o.
Reading

First waka
Originally there were no people in New Zealand the first people to settle in New Zealand come in a series of waka.
The first ten waka named Kurahaupō,Tainui,Mataatua,Tākitimu,Ārai-te-uru,Te Arawa,Te Arawa,Tokomaru,Horouta,Uruao
Most of the waka visited the North Island. Some of the places the waka landed at were.
Te Awanui,Tauranga Moana and Waiapu River.
The ten waka came to New Zealand to discover new lands for people to live.

This week we had Inter school sport for cricket we had to play 5 school's. It was bailey road, Tamaki, stone field 1 and 2 then we played glen bray. we lost 3 and won 2. we came 4 on the leader boad. the biggest hit that I made was the 6 runs. I had so much fun at Cricket because its my first time playing

Kiwi can
For Kiwi can we played 'bop the cone' to practices listening for instructions. We also played 'chines weispers' to practices listening and hearing information. I thought whispers was a good way to practices our listening skills.

For kiwi sport we spit into two teams. Then we started off with a passing drill when we had to run to a cone then pass it to the other person then the person has to pass it back. Then that person had to run then zigzag across the cones. The first team that finnish wins then gets to start with the ball when we start to play a game. Then we were given a colour the colors are green and red. First the red team was leading by 3 points then the green team cached up to 3 points. SO then it ended up with a draw

Kupe and Cook are 2 impotent explorers In New Zealand history. Kupe was a Maori explorer who discovered NZ. He arrived 1100’s. because he wanted to find a new place for his people. He arrived on a Traditional sail boat.
Captain James Cook was a British explorer who was sent to search the Pacific ocean.
He arrived to new Zealand on 1769 the 6 of October. He arrived to New Zealand on Endeavor. He died on the February the 14th 1779.
Kupe is important because he was the first documented person in NZ. Cook is important

This week we had four rotation one was we had to count on with an abacus. second we had to research the shapes that we said. next we had to make a team Logo using shapes.This task we had to do think boards. For think boards we had to do a number line, a story problem, basic addition and story problems the equation was 38 + 50 = ? I knew that 5 + 3 = 8 so 38 + 50 = 88.

Rippa Rugby
LI. Learn the basics of Rippa rugby.
This week LS1 and Room 5 went down to the Auckland Marist field to learn the basics of rippa rugby. First we started off with some drills our drills was passing the ball and shouting names out. Next we decided to play a game we had to rip everyones tag then the last person to with their tag still on them wins we had two round of that game then we played rippa rugby so we split up into boys vs girls. First the boys had the color green and the girls had the color red then after that it was a tie

Simple Sentence
This week we learnt what a simple was. First we watched a video which explained what a simple sentence is. Next our group had to reorder mixed up sentences. The we had to write 5 of our own simple sentence. I created a mixed up simple sentence slide for others to use. I look forward to other using my simple sentences.

Keywords
This week we had to use our books big machines on the road and find keywords to unlock information.
First we needed to read our book. Next we needed to make a list of key words. Lastly we needed to think of all the information that word unlocks as a reminder. I feel really happy and I enjoy learning about trucks. I learnt that trucks can carry an house.
